ABOUT THE ARTIST

 

    • Jeffrey Hughes is an award-winning fine art photographer based in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, just 40 miles south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Known for his ability to capture the soul of a landscape and the poetry of everyday moments, Jeffrey brings a refined artistic vision to each frame. His work blends technical precision with emotional depth, transforming scenes of nature, architecture, and rural Americana into timeless visual stories.

    • Over the years, Jeffrey's photography has garnered widespread recognition. He was honored with the Best Photographer in Fayette County award in both 2023 and 2024, earned the Community Choice Award for Best Photographer in 2024, and most recently received the Premier Artist Award 2025 from Contemporary Art Station. His striking imagery has been published in seven magazines, reaching audiences across the region and beyond. He has also been featured in the Herald Standard, Observer Reporter, and Mon Valley Magazine.

    • Deeply inspired by the beauty of Pennsylvania's landscapes and the quiet strength of it communities, Jeffrey's mission is to preserve fleeting moments and turn them into lasting art. Whether capturing the mist rising over a mountain valley at sunrise, or the architectural elegance of a historic clocktower, he invites viewers to see the world with fresh eyes - and a deeper appreciation for its natural and cultural heritage.

    • He is a member of the Professional Photographers Association of America and serves on Board of Directors for the Fayette Chamber of Commerce as well as being a member of the Mon Valley Chamber of Commerce. Passionate about giving back, he donates to many local charities and is active in the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation, a neurological autoimmune disease which Mr. Hughes has been diagnosed.​
